Global seafood supply chain standardization focuses on laboratory testing, inspection, and certification. Bangladesh has 14 laboratories accredited by the Bangladesh Accreditation Board (BAB) for food safety testing, with only 4 specifically equipped for seafood analysis (Source: Export Promotion Bureau of Bangladesh, 2022).
