Ahasanul Islam Titu is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent member of parliament for Tangail-6. In January 2024, he was appointed as the State Minister of Commerce. Titu is a prominent business leader and capital markets giant that has a long history of involvement in the financial sector of Bangladesh. He was the founding president of the Dhaka Stock Exchange's Brokerage Association. Furthermore, from 2005 to 2010 he was a member of the executive committee of the Bangladesh Insurance Association (BIA) and in 2012 was the vice president of BIA.
