Mr. Tapan Kanti Ghosh joined as Secretary, Ministry of Commerce on 3 June 2021. He was promoted as Senior Secretary on 30th December 2021. Before joining this ministry, he was working as Secretary in the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs from 7 July 2020 to 2 June 2021. He was promoted to the rank of Secretary to the Government on 5 December 2019. He also served as the Chairman of the Bangladesh Trade and Tariff Commission.
